Welcome to Daniel's Stupid Opinion. Let's get this over with.
The pop music this year be WAYYYYYYY better than last years. Last year's pop music was abysmal to put it nicely.
2018 Music Wrap Up
At the beginning of the year, Justin Timberlake put out a not-so-awesome album titled, Man of the Woods. Filthy was all over the radio and speeding up the charts in mid February. And then it disappeared, so in my opinion, it was a huge flop.

Kanye West is still easy to not love. We are all tired of this court jester. He puts out any lazily created track and somehow produces a hit. His song, "I Love It" features Lil Pump hits absurdly below target. They are just rapping words that tweens are told not to use. It samples an off-color joke for no reason except to appeal to tween tastes. This is worse than "Lift Yourself," only because that was just a troll track hyped to trick fans into listening to empty, silly lyrics.

Cardi B's, "I Like It Like That" is the opposite meaning of its title. This song make my ears wilt. Since half the school sang it in the hallway every day, it was like an echo torture chamber, "Coins like Mario, run this..like Cardio" on repeat. But I will give this to all the sass divas, it is a unique track. Before this song, I had never heard of Cardi B. At least she made a name for herself.

Imagine Dragons album, Origins left much to be desired. The only song I liked was "Natural."They still need to go back to school and take notes from Led Zeppelin. Try again.
"Happier" by Marshmello and Bastelle was like all other pop songs and got boring quick.

Oh and BO RHAP was awesome!
