You are probably wondering why the release years are on here. Well, over the years CGI (Computer Generated Images) has been improved. You can really see the difference. Star Wars: A New Hope was the first movie to contain CGI. It won a ton of awards, but the film got changed a lot. Is this still the same film that won several awards and our parents enjoyed when they were our age? We have added a prequel and sequel. That is OK. But they also changed the original trilogy. Sure we got creative over the years and created new characters and CGI ideas, but we can't change it too much. I think Lucasfilm took advantage of the newer technology and changed a little too much.
