NBA Sports Talk

NBA Today

Hi my name is Irvin and in this article,  we are going to be discussing the NBA “Top Five Point Guards.” To date, my top five point guards are: Chris Paul, Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, Russell Westbrook, and Damian Lillard. Now some people might disagree, but that's the great thing about the NBA!  A player could have an off day and wreck their average, but they can have a great game the next night and have the best field goal percentage in the league.
Chris Paul is my first because I am a Clippers fan, and Chris Paul is an amazing all around point guard he has good handles and he can shoot in traffic. At six feet tall it is hard to get to the paint but Chris Paul does it like clock work. I put Stephen Curry as second because he is a very good three point shooter and  he has good ball handling skills.  Now I know some of you guys are like “Kyrie Irvin”  is better than “Chris Paul”, but I say this because Kyrie averages 21.7 ppg (points per game) and 5 assists and Chris Paul is averaging 19.1 ppg and 10.2 assists. The stats don't lie. Even though Kyrie has better handles Chris has better stats.  Russell Westbrook is my fourth because he is just the most ecstatic of them all, he is the most athletic player in the NBA. My last pick, Damian Lillard made it on this list because he is an all around good player he has good ball handling, he also is a clutch three point shooter. Itseems as when he touches the ball it has to go into the hoop. Who knows maybe you can be on my list next time.
